I was dying to try the Illamasqua Skin Base foundation after Louise from LMD Makeup & Hair raved about it at the SOSU Workshop I attended at the Galgorm Resort & Spa. I nipped into Make Up Pro Store in Belfast for a colour match and left with all this..
❤️ MAKE UP FOR EVER Mattifying Primer
This product helps to refine, smooth and even out the skin prior to makeup application. Having a combination of dehydrated and oily skin this was recommended for my oily t-zone to fight against excess oil and ensure my makeup stays in place all day.
❤️ Make-Up Atelier Paris FLV1
For my dehydrated cheeks I picked up the Makeup Atelier Paris FLV1. I will apply this under my foundation to add a bit of a glow to my skin
❤️ Make Up Pro Store duo-fibre stippling brush
In store when I was being colour matched the girl used the Make Up Pro Store duo-fibre brush to apply the foundation and it was so soft and seemed to blend the foundation out perfectly so of course I had to pick one up. I have been using the Real Techniques beauty sponge for a foundation for a while now so I’m excited to shake it up and use a brush instead!
❤️ Illamasqua Skin Base foundation
This liquid foundation applies seamlessly over the cocktail of primers. Applied with the stippling brush to allow a buildable coverage the foundation stays in place all day.
It had been a hot minute since I’d changed up my daily makeup routine as much, but so far I am loving all the products I picked up and can’t wait for my next trip to Paddy’s store!
